Aloha guys!

I am back on the island from our family trip to the Philippines. I had the best Christmas and New Year and I hope that you guys are looking forward to what this year has to offer. I know that this post is super late because it is already the month of LOVE. It is February and I know that you are all looking forward to a romantic Valentine's Day. After I got back from our trip, school basically started just a week after and I did not have time to update my blog while I was on vacation because of internet difficulties. Anyway, in the backdrop of my picture is the famous Waikiki Beach. I try to do outdoor activities when my schedule allows it. Unfortunately, I am a senior in college this semester and my classes are crazier than ever. Please...bear with me as I slowly update my blog.

I feel guilty. I am guilty of not updating my blog more often. It's just that school has been my priority this past months and I've been crazy busy. Anyway, I recently celebrated my birthday and since my friends and family knows me very well, they gifted me with amazing things from ZARA. I felt like I was on top of the world when I received all these amazing gifts. Well, school will be over in a couple of weeks but I will be travelling for Christmas which will keep me busy again but I promise to post pictures while travelling to keep you guys updated. I think that there is nothing better than crochet top on a very sunny day. In Hawaii, you can never fail to wear something like this because it's sunny almost throughout the year. When pairing your top with a patterned bottom, you can always look for the most similar color in your patterned bottom to the top. In my outfit, it's the yellow that stands out in this pair of shorts. Also, I decided to wear a pair of nude heels  because it feels like I am wearing enough colors.

FLOWY and pleated skirts  are must have in your closet this summer. Although, I have to admit that I feel more comfortable wearing simple shorts and denim but I could not resist buying this skirt from Bebe. I normally don't buy clothes from Bebe because I am always afraid to try clothes that are out of my comfort zone but I was amazed how some of the clothes are so my style. I found this skirt, which was a complete bargain.

I know that I've said it many times but I will say it again. The weather in Hawaii right now is  very humid. This casual outfit is probably one of the most comfortable when dealing with the humidity outside. Also, I love wearing multiple colors in one outfit because it just gives me more energy and colors generally makes me happy.
